Armed Forces Compensation Scheme

The New Scheme is complex so we offer a full advice service on the entitlement to
compensation of members of the armed forces who have suffered qualifying injuries.

Applicants will need advice on any area of the Scheme and we will therefore
help with:

Whether the applicant qualifies for an award.
How to evidence the award.
Written representation to the AFCS
Appeals against decisions of the AFCS

Our barristers also offer advocacy services before the appeal tribunal so that your
applicant will receive the most appropriate award under the Scheme.

The Scheme covers:

Training injuries
Battlefield injuries
Other service injuries
Assaults in service

Stuart McKechnie settles trans-tibial amputation case for £985,000.
